These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.antonio-handmadestory.com and purchases made through the António Handmade Story online store, owned by:

1. Purpose
These terms regulate the purchase and sale of the handcrafted products available on the website, as well as the general use of the online store.

2. Products
All António Handmade Story products are handmade using natural and sustainable raw materials, such as vegetable-tanned leather and bio-leather.
Small variations may occur between similar items — these differences are part of the artisanal process and do not constitute a defect.

3. Orders
Orders can be placed through the website, with or without account registration.
Once payment is confirmed, the customer will receive an email with the order summary. The order is only considered valid after internal validation.

4. Payments
Available payment methods include:
• Credit or debit card
• MB Way
• PayPal
• Multibanco reference (when available)

Payments are processed through secure platforms (Shopify Payments and others). All prices are in euros (€), including VAT at the legal rate in force in Portugal.

5. Deliveries
Orders are shipped to Portugal and other countries with the following estimated times and costs:
• Portugal: free shipping; delivery in 4 to 6 business days
• Europe: fixed fee of €21.00; delivery in 8 to 12 business days
• Rest of the World: fixed fee of €26.00; delivery within 2 weeks

Notes:
• Delivery times may vary due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., shipping carrier)
• Import taxes, customs duties, or other applicable charges outside the EU are the customer's responsibility

6. Returns and Refunds
The customer has the right to cancel the contract within 14 days after receiving the item, in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law No. 24/2014.
To exercise this right, please contact us by email at customer@antonio-handmadestory.com and follow the process described in our [Returns & Exchanges Policy].
The refund will be issued within 14 days after the returned item has been received and inspected.

7. Warranty and Assistance
All products carry a legal warranty of 2 years for manufacturing defects or lack of conformity.
During this period, the customer may request:
• Repair
• Replacement
• Price reduction
• Contract termination (in applicable cases)

Defects must be reported within 2 months of detection.
In addition to the legal warranty, António Handmade Story offers a lifetime free repair service for signs of natural wear on well-maintained items. More details can be found in the section [Warranty – Repair – Restoration].

8. Data Protection
All personal data collected is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the website — including images, texts, logos, and design — is the property of António Handmade Story.
Reproduction, modification, or use without permission is strictly prohibited.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law.
In case of dispute, the competent court is that of the district of Caldas da Rainha.

11. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)
According to Law No. 144/2015, in case of a consumer dispute, the customer may resort to the following ADR entity:
